Job summary

KIMS Hospital, Maidstone, is Kent’s largest independent hospital, dedicated to patient care. We are seeking a compassionate Ward Host to join our Guest Services Team and enhance the patient experience during their stay.

You will support meal service, assist with dietary needs, and ensure patients feel cared for. Excellent communication and hygiene standards are essential, with prior food service experience valued but not required.

Qualifications

• Excellent communication skills with a caring approach.
• High standards of hygiene and presentation.
• Experience in food service or hospitality is desirable but not essential.
• A food hygiene qualification is beneficial but not required.

Responsibilities

• Provide menus, take meal orders, and assist with dietary and allergen-related queries.
• Work with ward and catering staff to prepare and deliver meals and beverages.
• Maintain high food hygiene standards and follow safety guidelines.
• Record food temperatures and follow food safety procedures.
• Collaborate with colleagues to provide excellent patient care.
