Job summary

Leicestershire Partnership NHS Trust (LPT) is seeking a Facilities Assistant for the Herschel Prins Centre in Leicester. The role supports portering, cleaning and catering services across the Estates and Facilities Directorate, working 29.14 hours per week with a 7-week rota.

You will rotate between responsibilities, delivering a patient-focused facilities service to support patients, staff and visitors. Interviews may occur sooner if applications are strong.

Responsibilities

• Duties will include the preparation and regeneration of patient meals at ward level on a daily basis
• Providing an effective, patient-focused cleaning and domestic service, including washing linen, to NHS cleanliness standards within designated patient/non-patient areas
• The postholder will also be responsible for portering services including transport of linen cages, waste bins/carts in and around hospital environments and patient moves
