Leicestershire Partnership NHS Trust is recruiting a Band 2 Facilities Assistant at Shepshed Health Centre to provide a patient-focused facilities service, including portering, cleaning and catering. The post is 12.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday from 7.45am to 10.15am.

Candidates should bring photo ID and proof of right to work, with flexible working as duties rotate across our Soft FM Team to ensure a safe, efficient and effective service for patients, staff and visitors.

Qualifications

• Duties include the preparation and regeneration of patient meals at ward level on a daily basis
• Providing patient-focused cleaning and domestic service to NHS cleanliness standards
• Providing portering services including linen transport and patient moves

Responsibilities

• Duties will include the preparation and regeneration of patient meals at ward level on a daily basis
• Providing an effective, patient-focused cleaning and domestic service, including washing linen, to meet NHS cleanliness standards as a minimum
• The postholder will also be responsible for portering services including transport of linen cages, waste bins/carts and patient moves
• Role will rotate between responsibilities as required
