Birmingham Community Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a Band 5 Housekeeping Manager to lead housekeeping and soft facilities across our estates and clinical environments. You will manage Supervisors, Team Leaders and facilities staff to deliver safe, clean and patient-centred services.

The role focuses on compliance with national standards, infection prevention controls, staff development and budget monitoring, in collaboration with clinical colleagues and operational managers.

Formación

• Experience in facilities management or hospital support services.
• Strong leadership and people-management abilities.
• Knowledge of infection prevention standards and national healthcare regulations.

Responsabilidades

• Lead and manage Housekeeping Supervisors, Team Leaders and Facilities staff.
• Ensure compliance with national standards, CQC requirements and infection prevention standards.
• Oversee recruitment, induction, training, attendance, performance and development of staff.
• Oversee food safety, allergen management, nutrition and hydration services.
• Monitor budgets, expenditure, stock control and value-for-money initiatives.
• Monitor service quality, respond to complaints and implement service improvements.
