Job summary

DaVita is hiring a Patient Care Technician to support end-stage renal disease patients in an outpatient dialysis clinic. You will provide direct care under RN supervision and help patients through dialysis treatment.

Responsibilities include delivering safe dialysis care, monitoring patients, setting up equipment, recording vitals, and educating patients on treatment and kidney health, with collaboration across the care team.

Qualifications

• Accredited high school diploma or GED or equivalent.
• Comfortable around blood and needles and medical equipment.
• Physically able to stand long shifts and lift load if needed.
• Willing to float between local clinics as required.
• Flexible schedule including mornings, evenings, weekends and holidays.

DaVita is hiring a Patient Care Technician (PCT) to support patients with end-stage renal disease in an outpatient dialysis clinic. As a PCT, you’ll provide direct, hands-on care under RN supervision, helping patients through life-sustaining dialysis treatment.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver safe, hygienic, and compassionate dialysis care
• Monitor patients before, during, and after treatment
• Set up and maintain dialysis equipment
• Record vital signs and patient data
• Educate patients on treatment and kidney health
• Collaborate with nurses, dietitians, social workers, and other care team members

Requirements

• Accredited High School diploma, general education development (“GED”) credential, or equivalent
• Comfortable around blood, needles, and medical equipment
• Physically able to work long shifts on your feet
• Willing to float between local clinics if needed
• Flexible schedule including mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays
• Preferred: CNA, MA, CHT, phlebotomy certification, or healthcare experience
