DaVita is seeking a Licensed Vocational Nurse for an outpatient dialysis center. You will help patients with end-stage renal disease and chronic kidney disease, delivering compassionate care in a fast-paced setting.

Requirements include dialysis experience, a current LPN/LVN license in the state of practice, CPR certification, and state-specific IV certification if required. You will work mornings, evenings, weekends and holidays as needed.

Qualifications

• Dialysis experience required.
• LPN-LVN license in state of practice.
• Current CPR certification.
• IV certification if required by state regulations.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Training program approved by the medical director and CMS guidelines prior to operating the water treatment system.
• BONENT or CHT certification preferred or as required by state regulation.
• Minimum of one year's experience in a hospital or clinical setting preferred.

Responsibilities

• Build meaningful and long-term relationships with patients and their families in an outpatient dialysis setting.
• Deliver care to patients who often have multiple co-morbidities requiring individualized treatment plans.
• Work in a fast-paced environment with head, heart and hands daily.
• Float to various clinics during and after training and maintain a flexible schedule including mornings, evenings, weekends and holidays.

Requirements:

• Dialysis experience
• Current LPN-LVN license in the state of practice required
• Current CPR certification required

• BONENT or CHT certification preferred or as required by state regulation

• Basic computer skills and proficiency in MS Word and Outlook required; functional proficiency in computer systems of DaVita within 90 days of hire required)
