The shift pattern for this position is Monday to Friday, 9 AM to 5 PM.
The post involves working as part of a multidisciplinary team to deliver compassionate, person-centered care within inpatient mental health wards. Responsibilities include providing therapeutic activities for patients, contributing to psychological therapies, and supporting recovery-focused care planning and evaluation.
You will be responsible for coordinating evidence-based therapeutic activities, contributing to individual care plans, and supporting low-intensity psychological therapies supervised by inpatient psychologists. Additionally, the role involves supporting the psychological therapies agenda and participating in the local steering group.
Further duties include supporting and educating nursing staff, providing specialist services within adult mental health, supervising staff and students, and possibly teaching in academic settings. The role also encompasses supporting policy implementation and supervising the Therapeutic Activity Healthcare Support Worker.
