Job summary

Hampshire County Cricket Club is seeking a Part-time Pathway Strength and Conditioning Coach to support the performance pathways for both men’s and women’s teams at The Utilita Bowl. The role is 20 hours per week, with evening and weekend sessions as required by the academy schedule.

The successful candidate will work under the Senior S&C Coach, delivering year-round S&C support, profiling and monitoring per ECB guidelines, and collaborating with ECB and school/community partners to optimise

Qualifications

• Undergraduate degree in Strength and Conditioning, Sport Science, Sports Coaching, or a related field.
• Experience coaching youth athletes in S&C or a related field.
• First Aid qualification.
• Full UK Driver's License.
• Postgraduate degree in Strength and Conditioning (Desirable).
• UKSCA Accreditation or S&C qualifications (Desirable).
• Experience coaching or playing sport (Desirable).
• UKAD Coach Clean certificate (Desirable).

Responsibilities

• Provide year-round Strength and Conditioning support to the Men’s and Women’s performance pathways in line with LTAD models.
• Conduct profiling and monitoring per ECB guidelines across physical development, growth, maturation and movement.
• Collaborate with ECB, parents/guardians, schools and clubs to maximise player development plans.
• Ensure player safety and welfare when using the performance gym.
• Engage with pathway coaching staff to support technical skill development and construct optimal workload plans.
• Attend in-house CPD events led by the sport science and medicine team.

Education

Undergraduate degree in Strength and Conditioning, Sport Science, Sports Coaching, or a related field

Experience coaching youth athletes in S&C

First Aid qualification
