Job description

An opportunity has arisen for an enthusiastic, flexible, and motivated individual to join our team as a Pathway Co-Ordinator in Urology Outpatients on a permanent basis.

Working Hours

Monday to Friday, 7.5 hours per day, between 08:00 and 17:00.

Application Requirements

Applicants must have read the Job Description and be confident in fulfilling the role's requirements. A good standard of English (GCSE or equivalent) and advanced IT literacy, with experience in a range of IT applications, are essential.

Essential Skills and Knowledge
  1. Understanding of booking and canceling appointments in Lorenzo.
  2. Awareness of work lists in Lorenzo and the E-Referral system.
  3. Competence in using Lorenzo.
  4. Understanding of RTT, demonstrated at interview, with online RTT training completed.
  5. Experience in a Band 2 administrative role, preferably patient-facing.
  6. Ability to provide efficient waiting list services, working flexibly with relevant staff and teams.
  7. Desire to support the Band 4 Team Leader with team management responsibilities, including training, mentoring, appraisals, and meetings.
  8. Willingness to deputise for the Team Leader during absences, with support provided as needed.
