Role: Medical Laboratories Risk and Health & Safety Manager

Location: London

Contract: Full time, Permanent

Salary: Up to £70,000

A fantastic private Laboratory are currently recruiting for an experienced Medical Laboratories Risk and Health & Safety Manager to join their expanding team.

Main duties:

• Deputise for the Head of Governance as required.
• Ensure that quality and risk management is embedded throughout the laboratory by providing support, advice and guidance on all aspects of quality governance.
• Provide support in the management of all complaints effectively and transparently in line with legislation, and that learning from complaints is disseminated across all areas.
• Maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, developing a system of quality assurance and monitoring.
• Deliver professional and reliable Health and Safety advice at the operational level.
• Lead on analysing the cause of serious incidents.
• Implement ongoing assessment and development of the CQC standards, working closely with the Head of Governance and laboratory teams.
• Liaise closely with key stakeholders to ensure all internal and external compliance schemes are embedded and monitored within Laboratories.

Essential Requirements:

• Extensive risk management and Laboratory health and safety experience.
• Expert understanding of ISO15190 and ISO22367
• IOSH or NEBOSH Qualification essential
• HCPC registration desirable
