Lemon Drizzle Recruitment is seeking an Assistant to Senior Quantity Surveyor for water/infrastructure projects in Durham. The role focuses on commercial management, financial control and contract compliance across NEC contracts, ensuring values, CVRs and cost reports are accurate while overseeing procurement and payments.

Qualifications

• Experience with NEC contracts, especially NEC4.
• Proven ability to produce valuations, CVRs and manage subcontracts.
• Strong financial control and contract administration skills.
• Ability to work across project lifecycle and collaborate with operations.

Responsibilities

• Oversee commercial management of water infrastructure projects.
• Maintain robust forecasting, cash flow and cost reporting.
• Administer variations, change control and subcontract payments.
• Manage project costs from inception to final account on NEC contracts.
• Support delivery teams to maximise profitability and compliance.
