What you'll do as a Pastry Sous Chef:

• Support the Pastry Sous Chef and Head Pastry Chef in the day-to-day running of the pastry kitchen, ensuring exceptional quality and consistency
• Take ownership of your section during service, preparing and presenting desserts to the highest standards
• Lead by example, supporting and developing the pastry team to create a positive and high-performing kitchen culture
• Assist with training and mentoring Commis Chefs and Chef de Parties, helping them develop their skills and confidence
• Ensure all food is prepared in line with recipes, specifications and presentation standards
• Maintain the highest standards of food safety, hygiene and cleanliness at all times
• Support with stock control, ordering and minimising waste, ensuring an efficient and well-organised pastry kitchen
• Work collaboratively with the wider kitchen brigade to deliver an exceptional dining experience for every guest
