Job summary

Proper Cornish is seeking Production Operatives to join our Machine-Made Products Team in a physically active role. You’ll set up production machines, run the line, perform quality checks, and add decorations and toppings to pastries.

The job involves lifting up to 25 kg and standing most of the shift, with a friendly team and opportunities to advance. We offer a competitive hourly rate starting at £13.21, with higher night/over-time rates (£16.51) and potential earnings growth as you progress

Qualifications

• No formal degree required; reliability and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Experience in food production or manufacturing is preferred.
• Must be able to lift up to 25 kg and stand for long periods.

Responsibilities

• Set up production machines to start shifts.
• Operate and monitor the production line to produce pastries.
• Carry out weight checks and quality controls on finished products.
• Assist with decorating and toppings to finish hand-finished items.
• Maintain a clean, organized workspace and manage waste responsibly.
