Job summary

Proper Cornish Limited is hiring a Packing Production Operative for our Machine-Made Products Team in Bodmin. You will work 17:15–03:30, four days out of five, with breaks of 2x30 minutes. Pay starts at £13.21/hour; night hours 20:00–06:00 and overtime over 37.5 hours receive enhanced rates up to £16.51/hour.

Training includes competency-based progression. Early weeks cover entry-level packing tasks, then progression to more complex operations with ongoing training and sign‑offs.

Qualifications

• Hands-on role requiring attention to detail and teamwork.

Responsibilities

• Check finished products for quality and specs.
• Pack finished products accurately and efficiently.
• Operate and load packing conveyor belts.
• Assemble boxes and maintain packing equipment.
• Palettise and wrap completed boxes for shipment.
