THE PIG is seeking a Pastry Chef near Bath to lead the pastry section and work with a small team in a fast paced kitchen. You will mentor junior staff and help craft modern British desserts using local produce from our onsite kitchen garden and area suppliers.

We value enthusiasm and passion, with opportunities to progress across THE PIG properties. Salary is OTE £37,300 per year with 40-hour weeks and paid overtime.

Qualifications

• Experience in pastry kitchen
• Ability to manage pastry section and junior staff
• Passion for modern British food and desserts

Responsibilities

• Manage the pastry section and lead junior staff
• Develop and execute pastry menus in a fast paced kitchen
• Inspire apprentices and lead by example
• Collaborate with gardeners and suppliers to source seasonal ingredients
