Job summary

Scotsman Group is seeking an experienced Pastry Chef to join our kitchen team in Glasgow. You will cook to high standards, follow specifications set out by the Company, and ensure HACCP procedures and hygiene guidelines are rigorously observed.

You will lead the pastry section, contribute to maintaining food quality across all desserts, and support senior staff in daily kitchen operations while upholding safety and cleanliness standards throughout the shift.

Qualifications

• Basic food hygiene is required.
• HACCP and COSHH understanding is essential.
• Experience with health and safety in the workplace.
• Ability to follow and cook to a specification.

Responsibilities

• Cook to a high standard following company specifications and HACCP procedures.
• Form an integral part of a highly motivated kitchen team.
• Ensure the smooth running of the pastry section.
• Maintain high standards of food hygiene and cleanliness.
• Follow instructions from senior team members to ensure section efficiency.
• Assist with section clean down and proper storage of items.
