Job summary

Crieff Hydro Hotel is seeking a Pastry Chef de Partie to produce high-quality desserts, pastries, breads and afternoon tea items across our restaurants and events. You will lead Commis Chefs, maintain quality and portion control, and collaborate with front of house to ensure guest satisfaction.

A qualification in professional cookery would be great, and relevant experience is desirable. We offer up to £31,500 per year plus tips, live-in accommodation, discounts, staff events, and career

Responsibilities

• Lead Commis Chefs to prepare desserts, pastries, breads and afternoon tea items.
• Ensure quality, consistency and proper portion control.
• Build strong relationships with front-of-house teams to meet guest expectations.
• Support Head Chefs and Sous Chefs with ideas and techniques to keep the pastry kitchen creative.

We’re looking for a Pastry Chef de Partie play a key role in producing high-quality desserts, pastries, breads and afternoon tea items across our restaurants and events.

What We Need From You

As Pastry Chef de Partie, you’ll motivate the Commis Chefs to prepare food for our venues. You’ll have an eye for quality, consistency and for portion control. You’ll build good relationships with the front of house team to make sure our guests get exactly what they want.
A qualification in professional cookery would be great, and relevant industry experience is desirable. Using your Pastry expertise and skill, you’ll be a key part in making sure our Pastry kitchen continues to excel in producing the most creative, innovative and tasty sweets.
You’ll also support our Head Chefs and Sous Chefs on ideas and techniques that make our Pastry kitchen a creative environment.
