Job summary

The Ivy Collection in Harrogate is seeking a Pastry Chef to create and assemble a range of desserts and afternoon teas. You will balance creative pastry execution with a busy kitchen environment.

• Maintain cleanliness and organisation, complying with food safety.
• Follow instructions from Senior Management to ensure consistency and quality.
• Demonstrate excellent communication and teamwork.

As a Pastry Chef, you will be responsible for preparing and assembling a range of desserts and afternoon teas. The perfect candidate will be an enthusiastic, detail-oriented individual with a passion for pastry and willingness to develop your skills.

This role is ideal for a Pastry Chef who can balance the delicate execution of detailed dishes with the demand of a busy kitchen environment.

Requirements:

• Previous experience as a Pastry Chef or similar role in a professional kitchen environment.
• Strong culinary skills with a passion for pastry.
• Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
• Knowledge of kitchen equipment, food safety practices, and pastry techniques.
