Job summary

Windsor Forest Colleges Group is seeking an ESOL Pastoral Tutor to support learners at Slough and Langley College campuses. The role is part-time (14.5 hours/week) across two days, term-time only (38 weeks). Pro rata salary £9,890.57–£10,526.07 per annum, based on a full-time equivalent of £29,586–£31,487.

You will deliver pastoral support, ESOL learner guidance and welfare, and work with safeguarding leads to help plan and contribute to PEP meetings, ensuring student welfare remains a priority.

Responsibilities

• Lead engaging group pastoral and personal development activities tailored to ESOL learners.
• Provide one-to-one tutoring and coaching to enhance wellbeing, study skills and academic success.
• Collaborate with educators and managers to deliver an outstanding college experience.
• Contribute to safeguarding processes and participate in PEP meetings to ensure student welfare.

Job description

Windsor Forest Colleges Group is seeking a Pastoral Tutor to join our ESOL Department, supporting students at our Slough and Langley College campus.

This is a part time, permanent role working 14.5 hours per week over two days, with one of those days being a Thursday. This is a term time only position working 38 weeks of the year.

The salary is on Scale H of the Support Staff pay scale, offering a pro rata salary of £9,890.57 (H20) to £10,526.07 (H22) per annum, depending on qualifications and experience. This is based on a full time equivalent of £29,586 at H20 to £31,487 at H22.
