Position: Pastoral Assistant

Location: Norton College, Worcester, WR5 2BA

Salary: £21,781.21 per annum (Salaried - not pro-rata)

Hours: Monday to Friday

Contract: Permanent, Term Time only

We now have a fantastic opportunity for a Pastoral Assistant to join our close-knit team at Norton College in Worcester.

About the role

1. Support the Head of School to ensure the smooth running of the College.
2. Undertake duties delegated by the Head of School.
3. The specific duties will vary according to the needs of the College and may be shared.
4. Support the SLT and Pastoral Lead in engaging with students to help them access lessons, vocational activities, and on-site and off-site activities.
5. Act as a designated key worker for one or two students, ensuring their needs are met and their voices are heard.
6. Be a positive role model to students.

Qualifications

GCSE or equivalent.
