Job summary

Northbrook College seeks a dedicated Pastoral Support Tutor to provide pastoral and academic guidance to our full-time learners, delivering 1:1 and group tutorials weekly. You will help students engage with the tutorial programme and achieve their best outcomes.

You will understand diverse student needs, motivate learners, and contribute to an inclusive, supportive college environment at the West Durrington Campus. The role runs Monday to Friday with a focus on student well-being and progression.

• Experience of supporting students in a pastoral or curriculum role.
• Experience of target setting.
• Ability to work to tight deadlines.
• Proven time management and organisational skills.

Pastoral Support Tutor

As our Pastoral Support Tutor, you will:

• Provide pastoral and academic support to our full-time learners on a 1:1 and group basis including weekly sessions of the tutorial programme.
• Support and motivate our students to achieve their full potential at college, ensuring they have a fulfilling experience.
• Understand the different support needs required for diverse cohorts of students.
