Job summary

Just Teachers Ltd is seeking a committed and compassionate Pastoral Support Officer to join a welcoming secondary school in Bradford. The role starts in September 2026 and focuses on student wellbeing, behaviour support, and safeguarding within Key Stages 3 and 4.

You will provide pastoral support to students, monitor wellbeing and attendance, and work with heads of year, teachers, and safeguarding leads to ensure every student can succeed both academically and personally.

Qualifications

• Experience working with children or young people (school-based experience desirable).
• Strong behaviour management and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to build rapport with students from diverse backgrounds.
• Knowledge of safeguarding procedures and child protection.
• Resilient, proactive, and able to work under pressure.
• Two school-based references required; DBS on update service or willingness to obtain one.

Responsibilities
