Job summary

Altrincham Grammar School for Girls is seeking an enthusiastic and highly motivated person to provide high-quality support to the SENDCo and pastoral leaders, promoting inclusion, wellbeing and progress across the school.

The role combines administrative duties with direct student support, liaison with parents and outside agencies, and responsibilities such as recording attendance, arranging meetings, and supervising breakfast club from 7:45 am.

Responsibilities

• Checking that vulnerable students are in school and arrive at their lessons
• Assisting tutors to monitor attendance, punctuality and behaviour
• Liaising with parents and outside agencies on SEND and pastoral matters
• Arranging meetings for SENDCo and senior tutors
• Maintaining accurate and confidential records and filing
• Supervision of and engagement with students in breakfast club
• Supporting attendance monitoring and referrals to Trafford’s Pupil Absence Team
