Job summary

Ashley Park School in Epsom, Surrey is seeking an experienced Pastoral Coordinator to join our Senior Leadership Team and shape the wellbeing and behaviour culture of the school.

You will lead pastoral provision, coach staff, and work with families, therapists and external professionals to provide personalised support so pupils can engage with learning. The role is 37.5 hours per week, permanent or term-time option, with salary up to £29,000 depending on experience.

Qualifications

• Has experience in pastoral leadership, behaviour, safeguarding, wellbeing or specialist education.

Responsibilities

• Lead pastoral and behaviour provision across the school, developing trauma-informed and relational approaches.
• Support and develop staff, coaching in positive behaviour support and restorative practice.
• Champion pupil wellbeing, using data to identify barriers and drive improvement.
• Build partnerships with families, therapists and external agencies for joined-up support.
• Lead through challenging situations with calm, confident support and high expectations.
• Contribute to safeguarding and school improvement as a Deputy Designated Safeguarding Lead.
