Teaching Personnel Ltd. is recruiting Pastoral Classroom Support Workers to assist pupils with SEN across Chorley and Skelmersdale, supporting learning, behaviour, and wellbeing in both primary and secondary settings.

The role offers hourly pay of £14.25–£15.00, with both full-time and part-time opportunities. Ongoing consultant support is provided, with potential for long-term or permanent roles after successful vetting and DBS checks.

Qualificações

• Previous experience working with children, young people, or vulnerable adults
• Experience within education, care, support work, youth work, residential care, or similar settings is highly desirable
• Patient, resilient and empathetic approach
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills
• Ability to adapt to individual student needs and behaviours

Responsabilidades

• Providing pastoral and classroom-based support to pupils with SEN/SEMH needs
• Building positive and trusting relationships with students
• Supporting emotional regulation and promoting positive behaviour strategies
• Assisting teaching staff with learning activities and interventions
• Encouraging student engagement, confidence, independence, and wellbeing
• Working on a 1:1 basis and within small group settings where required

Are you passionate about supporting children and young people with additional needs? We are currently recruiting Pastoral Classroom Support Workers to work within a range of Primary and Secondary SEN schools across Chorley and Skelmersdale.

This rewarding role involves supporting pupils with a variety of needs, including Autism (ASC), ADHD, SEMH (Social, Emotional and Mental Health needs), learning difficulties, and challenging behaviour. You will play a key role in helping students access education, develop positive relationships, and achieve their full potential.

• Providing pastoral and classroom-based support to pupils with SEN/SEMH needs
