ATK Solutions Inc. is seeking an experienced Fire Surveyor to deliver technical fire surveying projects across existing and occupied buildings, working within a specialist fire engineering consultancy.

You will review construction details, defects, and fire safety compliance as part of a broader team addressing remediation strategies across UK residential, commercial, hotel, healthcare and education developments.

• Experience in building surveying, surveying, façade inspection, or passive fire protection.

Responsibilities

• Deliver technical fire surveying projects across existing and occupied buildings.
• Review construction details, building defects, and fire safety compliance issues within complex buildings.
• Work alongside Fire Engineers on complex fire engineering solutions and building safety strategies.
• Liaise with contractors, developers, housing providers, consultants, and clients regarding remediation solutions and compliance matters.
• Support quality assurance inspections during remediation works and sign-off stages.
• Opportunity to train and develop into Senior surveying and retrospective fire strategy consultancy if desired.

Job description

We are currently working with a specialist and highly regarded fire & fire engineering consultancy seeking an experienced Fire Surveyor from a building surveying, surveying, façade inspection, or passive fire protection background.

This position is a Fire Consultant role and offers the opportunity to work on technically challenging fire remediation andfire projects across complex residential, commercial, hotel, healthcare, and education developments throughout the UK.

The Role:

• Deliver technical fire surveying projects across existing and occupied buildings
• Review construction details, building defects, and fire safety compliance issues within complex buildings
• Work alongside Fire Engineers on complex fire engineering solutions and building safety strategies
• Liaise with contractors, developers, housing providers, consultants, and clients regarding remediation solutions and compliance matters
• Support quality assurance inspections during remediation works and sign-off stages
• Opportunity to train and develop into Senior surveying and retrospective fire strategy consultancy if desired
