Job summary

Checkmate Fire Solutions is a leading UK provider of passive fire protection and compliance services, seeking an experienced Site Manager to oversee fire safety upgrade projects in healthcare and accommodation sectors.

You will manage day-to-day site operations, coordinate subcontractors, ensure compliance with fire safety legislation, and maintain RAMS and quality records while communicating with clients and residents to minimise disruption.

Qualifications

• Experience as Site Manager in Passive Fire Protection.
• Knowledge of fire stopping and compartmentation works.
• Experience on healthcare/accommodation projects is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day site operations on passive fire protection projects.
• Coordinate subcontractors, suppliers, and on-site teams.
• Ensure works comply with current fire safety legislation and standards.
• Conduct regular site inspections, audits, and quality checks.
• Maintain RAMS and compliance documentation.
• Liaise with clients, residents and stakeholders to minimise disruption.
• Promote and enforce health & safety standards on site.
• Resolve on-site issues quickly and effectively.
