The roles are ideal for professionals with in-depth knowledge of fire protection legislation and products, as well as a strong background in inspection, supervision, or installation. Passive Fire Protection Inspector and/or Consultant

Location:

UK-wide - predominantly Central England (Travel required, occasional overnight stays).

Responsibilities:

• Conduct detailed site assessments, recording and reporting on the condition of built-in fire protection measures in both new and existing properties.
• Ensure all inspections comply with the latest Building Regulations, standards, and relevant technical literature.

Requirements:

• Proven experience in the passive fire protection or a complementary industry, with a background in technical services, inspection, supervision, management, or extensive installation is preferred.
• Comprehensive knowledge of current fire protection legislation and a wide range of products, including fire stopping, fire barriers, fire doors, fire dampers, and structural steel protection or a willingness to upskill in this field.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel.
• Flexibility and willingness to travel across the UK (including overnight stays).
• Professional, ethical, and able to work independently.
• Willingness to work towards relevant professional qualifications and continued development.
• Full UK driving license.
• CSCS card holder.
