Fire Stopping Contracts Manager

Salary GBP45k+ and Company Vehicle

Location : Peterborough Monday - Friday 08:00 - 17:00 ( Hybrid options can be discussed )

Our client is a leading passive fire protection specialist, providing solutions and services in the specification and installation of passive fire protection systems. The head office is based in Peterborough.

We are currently seeking an experienced Contracts Manager. To apply you need to have 3+ years experience in the fire stopping industry with extensive experience in the compliance of fire safety and installation. The role involves leading a multi-site team to ensure the smooth and effective running of installations.

The vacancy is an autonomous field based, management role, and is a critical position in the fire stopping industry. As a Contracts Fire Stopping Manager, you will be responsible for the day-to-day management of current and future fire stopping contracts.

Responsibilities

  • You will manage administration in an organised and efficient way including the completion of Risk Assessments, Method Statements and storage of safety documentation.
  • You will stay up to date with current health and safety legislation and requirements, escalating changes where needed and incorporating such changes into your ways of working.
  • Installation and inspection of Fire Stopping to ensure a good finish and compliance with safety standards and Material Manufacturers details.
  • Planning workloads for labour and material deliveries, to ensure sufficient quantities are on site at all times.
  • You will be required to meet with clients and survey works in multiple locations across the Midlands and London.

Requirements

  • NVQ Level 3 in Fire Stopping
  • A minimum of 3 years industry experience.
  • A clean UK driving licence
  • FIRAS/Qmark Experience would be advantageous, however not essential.

The role will involve travel to and from sites. (Please note occasional weekends may be requested to support client events).
