Job summary

North Yorkshire County Council is seeking a Passenger Assistant in Skipton to help ensure safe, comfortable journeys for passengers on our community transport services. The role is fixed-term for 12 months, part-time at 25 hours per week during term time, with pro rata annual pay.

You will support safe boarding, travel and alighting, and work closely with carers and colleagues. Full training, DBS clearance, and safeguarding commitments accompany the position.

Qualifications

• Experience is not essential; full training provided.
• Enhanced Level DBS disclosure is required for appointment.

• Ensuring all passengers board, travel, and alight safely, while ensuring that any safety equipment is used correctly.
