Job summary

North Yorkshire Council seeks caring, flexible people to join the Integrated Passenger Transport Operations Team in Skipton. The role is 25 hours per week, term-time only, with pro rata salary paid over 12 months.

You will help ensure safe, comfortable journeys for passengers, with full training provided. You’ll work a split shift, 07:00–09:30 and 15:00–17:30, Monday to Friday, with occasional adjustments to passenger needs.

Qualifications

• Experience in a similar role is an advantage.
• Full training provided including PATS, First Aid and Managing Challenging Behaviour.

Responsibilities

• Ensure passengers board, travel, and alight safely.
• Maintain clear communication with carers and colleagues.
