Job summary

PWS Technical Services (UK) Ltd. is seeking an experienced Utilities Surveyor (PAS 128) to support multiple contracts across the UK. The role requires surveying expertise, data collection using GPR and locators, and accurate mapping of underground utilities.

The successful candidate will travel to sites 1–2 days per week, hold a UK driving licence, and work within a team focused on safety and quality. A fully expensed company vehicle and comprehensive benefits are provided.

Qualifications

• Qualified in Utility Mapping and Surveying or equivalent.
• Proven utilities surveying experience.
• Proficient with GPR, locators, total stations and GPS.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Willingness to travel UK-wide and hold a UK driving licence.
• Right to work in the UK.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive utility surveys using surveying techniques and equipment.
• Identify, locate and map underground utilities under PAS128 standards.
• Utilise GPR, locators, total stations and GPS to collect data and create maps.
• Collaborate with managers, engineers and clients to meet survey objectives.
• Adhere to health and safety guidelines on site and during data handling.
• Provide technical support to junior staff as needed.
