Job summary

Slicker Recycling Ltd in Newport is seeking a proactive Parts Washer Technician to refurbish, service and repair our Parts Washer machines, both in workshops and at customer sites nationwide.

Based at the Newport site, you will work Monday to Friday, travel by company van, stay away overnight when required, and join a team focused on quality workmanship, safety and customer satisfaction, with full training provided and ongoing development opportunities.

Qualifications

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
• Flexible and able to adapt to changing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Valid licence to drive and travel to sites will be required.
• Experience in electrical or mechanical repair or maintenance is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Gaining knowledge of our parts washer range.
• Receiving in-depth training on machines and technical details.
• Refurbishing machines in workshops.
• Carrying out field-based servicing and maintenance with the Parts Washer Manager.
• Traveling nationwide in a company van to support customer requirements and staying away when needed.
• Interacting with suppliers and customers.
• Maintaining a clean and safe working environment.
