Job summary

Marshall Motor Group in Exeter is seeking a proactive Warehouse Operative for the Trade Parts Centre. You will maintain stock, assist with stock takes, handle inbound/outbound parts, and ensure accurate records and safe handling at all times.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in parts or distribution.
• Team-player comfortable operating with set processes and procedures.
• Good communication skills.
• Ability to record information accurately.
• Motivated, dedicated and organised with a focus on Health & Safety in the workplace.

Responsibilities

• Maintain Stock securely and in good condition.
• Assisting the warehouse supervisor with regular stock takes to ensure the stock in the warehouse meets with the computerised inventory, and reporting any discrepancies promptly.
• Lifting and moving Parts within the warehouse.
• Checking for any damage on incoming parts orders and recording any findings.
• Identifying and storing inbound parts into the correct locations ensuring all parts have a part number.
• Picking customers orders and preparing them for dispatch.
• Ensuring that authorised signatures, receipts or payments are received for all parts issued over the trade counter and ensuring no unauthorised removal of parts stock out of the warehouse.
• Adhering to Health & Safety regulations at all times (Particularly manual handling practices)
