Job summary

Thomas Hardie Commercials Ltd is recruiting for a conscientious and enthusiastic Parts Store person/Van Delivery Support at the Middlewich Depot. You will identify, locate and pick parts for workshop staff and customers using catalogues and stock lists, and you will report to the Parts Supervisor.

The role emphasises customer satisfaction and requires stock handling, data recording and occasional stock checks. A full UK driving licence is essential; forklift licence is advantageous.

Qualifications

• Experience in a Parts role and customer service.
• Numeracy and literacy to handle parts documentation.
• Ability to identify parts from catalogues and media.
• Full UK driving licence; forklift licence advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Receive stock into the department and correctly locate items.
• Record deliveries and maintain a signature for the receipt of goods.
• Collect returned goods and issue receipts.
• Perform external stock checks with customers as required.
• Carry out daily vehicle checks and complete the checklist.
• Collect parts from other depots as required.
