Job summary

Bennetts Car Parts is seeking a Delivery Driver to join our team in the United Kingdom. You will be responsible for the safe and timely delivery of car parts to garages, dealerships and retail customers, with basic warehouse duties when not on deliveries.

The role requires a full UK driving licence, previous delivery or driving experience, good local knowledge, and strong time management and customer service skills.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

  • Deliver car parts and accessories to customers in a timely and safe manner.
  • Load and unload parts, ensuring they are not damaged.
  • Check deliveries against orders and obtain customer signatures as proof of delivery.
  • Maintain accurate delivery records and paperwork.
  • Provide excellent customer service and represent the company professionally.
  • Assist in the warehouse when not driving (picking, packing, stock checks).
  • Follow route schedules and adapt to traffic or delays as required.
  • Carry out daily vehicle checks and report faults or maintenance issues.

About The Role

As a Delivery Driver at Bennetts Car Parts, you will be responsible for the safe, timely, and accurate delivery of car parts and accessories to our customers, including garages, dealerships, and retail clients. You will play a key role in maintaining our reputation for excellent customer service. This position also involves basic warehouse duties, such as picking and packing orders, when not on delivery runs.

Hours of work: Monday to Friday 8am - 5.30pm and alternate Saturdays' 8.30am - 1pm

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver car parts and accessories customers in a timely and safe manner
  • Load and unload parts, ensuring they are handled carefully and delivered without damage
  • Check deliveries against orders and obtain customer signatures as proof of delivery
  • Maintain accurate delivery records and paperwork
  • Provide excellent customer service and represent the company in a professional manner
  • Assist in the warehouse when not driving (e.g., picking, packing, stock checks)
  • Follow route schedules and adapt to traffic or delays when necessary
  • Carry out daily vehicle checks and report any faults or maintenance issues
  • Ensure the delivery vehicle is clean, roadworthy, and complies with legal requirements
