Aftersales Advisor (Parts / Service) - Woking, Surrey

We are seeking an experienced Aftersales Advisor to join our Woking-based motor vehicle garage, covering both Parts and Service departments.

Salary: £27,000 OTE £30,000 (achievable)

Hours: 8am to 6pm Monday to Friday (5pm finish on one day), plus 1 in 3 Saturdays 8:30am to 12:30pm

Location: Woking, Surrey

Responsibilities:
  1. Provide excellent customer service by promptly and accurately answering customer queries, and offering advice on vehicle parts, accessories, and servicing.
  2. Identify and source vehicle parts and accessories using electronic catalogues and other sources.
  3. Maintain inventory levels by ensuring stock is correctly identified, counted, stored, and replenished through orders.
  4. Monitor and manage backorders to ensure timely delivery of parts and accessories to the workshop.
  5. Maintain a clean, safe, and organized working environment, adhering to health and safety procedures.
  6. Participate in training and development to enhance skills and knowledge.
  7. Respond to incoming calls, emails, and other communications professionally and promptly.
  8. Schedule appointments and keep accurate, up-to-date calendars.
  9. Prepare and process customer paperwork and invoices.
  10. Assist customers with queries or concerns, providing exceptional service.
  11. Coordinate with other departments for a seamless customer experience.
About You:
  • Prior experience in an automotive parts department or related field.
  • Basic knowledge of vehicle components and parts.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Proficiency with electronic parts systems, digital diaries, and inventory management software.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
