About TPS
TPS provides independent garages and bodyshops with high-quality Genuine Parts and products needed to service and repair Volkswagen Group vehicles. TPS is part of the Volkswagen Group, which includes Audi, SEAT, ŠKODA, Volkswagen passenger cars, and Commercial Vehicles. It operates a national network of TPS Centres with a 1,500-strong workforce. About the Role
What will you be doing?
- Working with the Sales Manager and team to deliver and achieve the business plan and sales objectives of the Centre.
- Achieving personal KPIs and revenue objectives with target customers.
- Accurately identifying parts to meet customer sales requirements.
- Utilising all product promotions effectively to meet targets.
- Identifying and leveraging potential sales opportunities within the customer base.
- Maintaining product knowledge and awareness of competitor activity.
- Building strong relationships with customers through regular contact via phone and face-to-face visits.
- Providing high-level customer service by understanding requirements, responding to requests, progressing orders, and offering expert advice.
- Providing timely communication to customers regarding their credit status.
- Supporting the TPS Centre team to ensure good working relationships and excellent customer service.
- Working with the Sales Manager to achieve sales targets and ensure a cohesive sales approach.
- Handling incoming calls and customer inquiries within KPIs, using the approved greeting.
- Ensuring proper and accurate use of all systems for searching and ordering parts.
- Completing documentation accurately and promptly.
- Managing cash and credit card transactions in line with TPS guidelines.
Requirements
What are we looking for?
- A self-starter with a proven track record in building relationships and achieving sales targets in a B2B environment.
- Confident and capable communicator with experience in fast-paced and/or telesales environments.
- Passion for providing excellent customer service.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills to build relationships with stakeholders.
- A team player with drive and determination to meet individual and sales targets weekly and monthly.
- Excellent attention to detail and accurate record-keeping.
- IT literate, preferably with good knowledge of MS Excel.
- Passion for the automotive industry.
Nice-to-have skills
- Customer Service experience.
