Job summary

Eastbourne-based Parts Preparation Operative role requiring practical approach, strong attention to detail and commitment to quality. The successful candidate will follow precise cleaning and assembly instructions, perform inspections and packing, and maintain cleanliness and safety standards in a busy manufacturing environment.

Training will cover health and safety, chemical handling and equipment use, with a focus on teamwork and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• Ability to read and follow work instructions.
• Good understanding of health and safety when handling chemicals and abrasive materials.
• Experience in industrial cleaning, component preparation or manufacturing environment would be beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Clean, visually inspect, package and label components, assemblies and chambers to required cleanliness standards.
• Carry out leak checks and report faults or defects.
• Bead blasting to remove surface deposits and achieve a high-quality finish.
• Follow work instructions and cleaning specifications accurately.
• Handle cleaning chemicals and abrasive materials safely.
• Maintain a clean, tidy and organised working environment.
• Meet deadlines while maintaining excellent quality standards.
• Follow all health, safety and environmental procedures.
