Job summary

Perfect Placement is seeking an experienced Parts Manager for a busy dealership in Redhill. You will lead the Parts Department, drive stock control, and steer profitability while delivering excellent customer service.

The role requires a strong Aftersales/parts background within the motor trade and proven leadership abilities. You will manage a team, monitor budgets, and build relations with trade account customers, ensuring compliance with health and safety and company policies.

Qualifications

• Proven experience within a Parts or Aftersales role in the motor trade.
• Excellent organisational and time-management abilities.
• Full UK Driving Licence and willingness to travel as required.
• Knowledge of relevant vehicle and trade legislation is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Manage and oversee all daily operations of the Parts Department, ensuring high standards of service and efficiency.
• Control stock levels, optimise stock utilisation, and oversee stock planning and administration as the Parts Manager.
• Drive sales of parts, accessories, and value-added products to maximise departmental profitability.
• Monitor and manage departmental budgets, controlling costs and improving financial performance.
• Lead, motivate, and develop the team through coaching, training, and performance management.
• Maintain compliance with relevant legislation, health and safety standards, and company policies.
• Build and nurture relationships with trade account customers; explore new business opportunities.
• Ensure accurate administration, including warranty processing, stock checks, and supplier relationships.

Duties of the Parts Manager:
