Group 1 Automotive is seeking a Parts Advisor for the Farnborough Ford site to provide knowledgeable guidance on part availability and ensure accurate logging and allocation from suppliers. You will deliver strong customer service to both external and internal customers while building relationships with manufacturers and suppliers.

The role requires attention to detail, excellent communication, and the ability to prioritise tasks in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Strong ability to meet deadlines and effectively prioritise tasks in a fast-paced environment.
• Methodical and logical approach, especially during busy periods.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Exceptional time management and ability to thrive under pressure.
• Proficient in IT, with experience using web-based systems, email, and Microsoft Office.
• Must hold a valid UK driving licence.

Responsibilities

• Provide guidance to customers on the availability of parts, ensuring timely and accurate information
• Receive, log, and accurately allocate parts and consumables from suppliers
• Deliver outstanding customer service to both external and internal customers
• Offer knowledgeable recommendations on suitable parts to meet customer requirements
• Maintain accurate customer records on our systems
• Effectively communicate relevant promotions, offers, and product information to customers
• Ensure full familiarity with all procedures and processes within the parts department
• Build and maintain strong working relationships with the manufacturer and suppliers
