Job summary

ACS Automotive Recruitment is seeking an experienced Parts Assistant for a permanent, full-time position in Basildon. The role offers a basic salary of £28,000 - £35,000 (DOE) and 28 days’ holiday. Mon-Fri 8:00am-5:30pm with no weekend work, within a busy accident repair bodyshop environment.

The ideal candidate will have automotive parts experience, strong administration skills and the ability to work with workshop teams to ensure vehicles are repaired efficiently. Autoflow knowledge is a bonus.

Qualifications

• Previous experience within an automotive Parts Assistant / Parts Advisor role is essential.
• Experience working within an accident repair or bodyshop environment is advantageous.
• Strong attention to detail and excellent organisational skills.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks in a busy environment.
• Good communication skills with suppliers and internal departments.

Responsibilities

• Ordering and sourcing parts required for vehicle repairs.
• Checking deliveries and ensuring parts are correct and accounted for.
• Liaising with suppliers to manage availability and delivery timescales.
• Supporting the workshop team by ensuring parts are available when required.
• Maintaining accurate records of parts orders and stock.
• Updating internal systems and processing parts information.
• Communicating with colleagues to ensure a smooth repair process.
• Assisting with general parts administration duties.

Our client, a well-established accident repair bodyshop based in Basildon, is looking to recruit an experienced Parts Assistant to join their busy team.

This is an excellent opportunity for an organised and detail-focused Parts professional looking to join a successful repair environment.
