McGovern Automotive Group is proud to announce our newly acquired truck center in Plymouth, MA! We are currently hiring for Parts Advisors at McGovern Chevrolet-Cadillac of Plymouth, MA!
TheParts Advisorsare responsible for parts sales to internal and external customers. Inventory management with the Parts Manager and keeping the department organized at all times.
We have a teamwork atmosphere and we focus on selling the right parts the first time to all our valued customers. Our team members consist of experienced long-term stable parts advisors.
CDK experience is required and/or highly proficient with various computer programs.
Parts Advisor Responsibilities:
· Assists all customers in selecting required parts in a friendly, professional and efficient manner.
· Collects payment from retail customers or obtains credit authorization as necessary.
· Maintain inventory of parts and shop materials daily to ensure that stock remains filled and locates out-of-stock parts or shop materials when needed.
· Makes sure all internal requests for parts are billed correctly on service repair orders.
· Work directly with the Parts Manager keeping the inventory up to date and organized.
· Taking wholesale customer calls, ensuring the right parts are ordered and dispatched to delivery drivers. Pull orders for delivery to body shops with shippers & drivers.
· Follow up on back-ordered parts, check your old orders and follow up with customers.
· Keeps orderly records of all repair orders, invoices, insurance estimates and special-order parts.
· Maintains orderly department workspace and overall parts department cleanliness.
· Assists outside sales representatives with their orders and report to Parts Manager.
· Contributes to the overall success of the dealership by working with all customers, teams and departments collaboratively and professionally with a positive, “CAN DO” attitude.
· Other job tasks as assigned, including warehouse duties with shippers/receivers.
· Available to work Monday- Friday with alternating Saturday hours.
Parts Advisor Required Qualifications:
· CDK knowledge and efficient with online computer programs.
· Understand inventory counts, location bins, how to put parts in stock and replenish inventory.
· Displays superior customer relationship and interpersonal skills. Demonstrates a high work ethic and professional attitude towards our customers and employees.
· Is self-motivated, organized and success driven. Able to “Up-sale” parts give good service.
· Automotive general knowledge and able to lookup parts precisely on E.P.C.
· Maintains professional appearance and positive attitude to match our current team.
· Understands and complies with federal, state and local regulations.
· Possesses effective English verbal and written communication skills. Good communication.
· Meets deadlines, prioritizes assignments, and multi-tasks under pressure.
· Able to pass background and drug screenings.
