Job summary

Group 1 Automotive Norwich is seeking a Parts Advisor in our BMW Norwich location. You will help customers with parts availability, answer calls, and provide outstanding service while working across the Norwich sites.

With a focus on accuracy, teamwork and sales, you will log orders, allocate parts, and build strong relationships with suppliers and the manufacturer. A valid UK driving licence and IT literacy are essential.

Qualifications

• Strong ability to meet deadlines and prioritise tasks in a fast-paced environment.
• Methodical and logical approach, particularly during busy periods.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Must hold a valid UK driving licence.

Responsibilities

• Provide guidance to customers on the availability of parts, ensuring timely and accurate information.
• Operate in a fast-paced call centre environment, handling high volumes of inbound and outbound calls.
• Engage in tele sales activities, proactively reaching out to trade customers to promote parts, offers, and services.
• Demonstrate strong communication and sales skills to convert enquiries into orders and build lasting customer relationships.
• Receive, log, and accurately allocate parts and consumables from suppliers.
• Deliver outstanding customer service to both external and internal customers.
• Offer knowledgeable recommendations on suitable parts to meet customer requirements.
• Maintain accurate customer records on our systems.
• Ensure full familiarity with all procedures and processes within the parts department.
• Build and maintain strong working relationships with the manufacturer and suppliers.
