Job summary

TrustFord in Glasgow is seeking a Parts Advisor to join our PartsPlus Distribution Centre. You will handle telephone and internet orders, manage customer accounts, and work closely with other departments to keep operations smooth.

You should have strong communication skills, be numerate and literate, and possess solid IT skills. Ideal candidates will have good technical knowledge of vehicle parts and be comfortable upselling or advising on related or alternative parts.

Qualifications

• Excellent communication skills.
• Numerate and literate with a prompt, courteous and professional manner.
• Excellent IT skills.
• Good technical knowledge of vehicle parts.
• Experience identifying vehicle parts using VIN numbers or electronic parts catalogues (e.g. Autocat).

Responsibilities

• Receive and process telephone and internet orders.
• Ensure customer accounts are managed effectively and coordinate with other departments.
• Upsell or advise on related or alternative parts when appropriate.
