Qualifications

• Experience in automotive parts department and customer service.
• Full UK driving licence.
• Excellent attention to detail ensuring orders and stock are processed accurately.
• Process-driven with ability to work efficiently while maintaining high standards.
• Strong communication skills and confident relationship-building with customers and colleagues.
• Proactive, self-motivated attitude with the ability to manage workload using own initiative.
• Good IT skills and confidence using computer systems; in-house software training provided.

Responsibilities

• Maximise profit through effective operation of the Parts department.
• Maintain parts stock and stock records.
• Order parts, paint and consumables; quality control of incoming parts.
• Accurately record and reconcile parts received.
• Check all parts for quality and accuracy; return defective parts per policy.
• Enter invoice data on the management system on receipt date.
• Supervise the Warehouse Controller to ensure tasks are carried out correctly.
• Maintain stock levels in relation to parts sales targets.
• Collaborate with senior management to implement improvements and meet targets.

Parts Advisor

Location: Redhill

Salary: Up to £35,000 (DOE)

Monday - Friday 8.00am – 5.30pm

Are you an experienced Parts Advisor looking to take the next step in your career? We have an exciting opportunity to join a busy, well-established leading organisation.

As a valued member of the Parts Department, you'll work alongside a knowledgeable and supportive wider team, ensuring the workshop receives the right parts efficiently while delivering excellent internal customer service.

What You'll Be Doing

Your responsibilities will include:

• Maximise profit through the effective operation of the Parts department.
• Maintain parts stock and stock records
• Ordering of parts, paint and consumables, quality control of incoming parts.
• Accurately record and reconcile parts received
• Check all parts received for quality assurance and accuracy and carry out returns for defective or incorrect parts in accordance with the vender/suppliers returns policy.
• Enter all invoice data on to the management system on the same day of receipt, ensuring accuracy.
• Ensure effective supervision of the Warehouse Controller ensuring all tasks are carried out correctly.
• Maintain ideal stock levels , in relation with parts sales targets
• Work alongside senior management to make improvements and ensure all targets are met

What We're Looking For

• Previous experience working within an automotive parts department, with a strong understanding of parts operations and customer service.
• A full UK driving licence.
• Excellent attention to detail, ensuring orders, stock, and customer requests are processed accurately the first time.
• A process-driven approach with the ability to work efficiently while maintaining high standards.
• Strong communication skills, with the confidence to build positive relationships with customers and colleagues.
• A proactive and self-motivated attitude, with the ability to manage your workload using your own initiative.
• Good IT skills and confidence using computer systems, with full training provided on our in-house software.
