Job summary

Holt Recruitment are recruiting on behalf of a well-established engineering business to appoint a Parts Advisor in Cirencester. You will identify, order and supply the right parts for engineers and customers, keeping operations moving efficiently.

The role offers a competitive salary (£25,000–£30,000), Monday–Friday hours, and benefits including a company pension, holiday allowance, and ongoing training and development.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a Parts Advisor or similar role.
• Experience in engineering/autos/industrial environment.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.
• Good IT skills and ability to multitask.
• Proactive attitude with excellent organisation.

Responsibilities

• Identify and supply parts for engineers, workshop staff and customers.
• Order stock from suppliers and monitor deliveries.
• Maintain accurate stock levels and perform regular stock checks.
• Produce quotations, process invoices and update internal systems.
• Work closely with the service team to ensure parts are available.

Role: Parts Advisor

Salary: £25,000 £30,000

Location: Cirencester

Holt Recruitment are currently working with a well-established engineering business, looking to recruit an experienced Parts Advisor to join their busy depot in Cirencester.

The Role as a Parts Advisor, you'll play a key role in supporting the service department by ensuring the correct parts and components are identified, ordered and supplied efficiently, helping to keep customers and engineers moving.

Key responsibilities include:

• Identifying and supplying parts for engineers, workshop staff and customers
• Ordering stock from suppliers and monitoring deliveries
• Maintaining accurate stock levels and carrying out regular stock checks
• Producing quotations, processing invoices and updating internal systems
• Working closely with the service team to ensure parts are available when required

About You

• Previous experience as a Parts Advisor, Parts Sales Advisor or Parts Administrator
• Experience within an engineering, automotive, commercial vehicle, industrial equipment or similar environment
• Strong customer service and communication skills
• Good IT skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks in a busy environment
• A proactive attitude with excellent organisational skills
