Job summary

Hearing Dogs for Deaf People seeks a Partnership Advisor to cover Scotland, managing a defined geographic area including Borders, East, North East and Highlands. The role requires regular visits, collaborative work with volunteers and external partners, and a person-centred approach to support partnerships.

You will be responsible for wellbeing planning, community events, and signposting to Hearing Link services, with DBS checks and safeguarding awareness as part of duties.

Qualifications

• Full UK Driving Licence and willingness to travel within Scotland.
• Ability to manage a caseload and perform regular in-person visits.
• Knowledge of safeguarding and GDPR is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Provide long-term, person-centred advice and wellbeing planning to partnerships.
• Manage a caseload with regular in-person visits and ongoing support.
• Develop partnership support and wellbeing plans with robust risk management.
• Lead on retirement and bereavement pathways, with planning and signposting.
• Organise local events and peer-support programmes to strengthen community.
