Gloucestershire County Council is seeking two Partnership Advisers to join the Connect to Work team. You will develop partnership networks, strengthen referral pathways and promote the programme across Gloucestershire.
The role focuses on collaboration with health, voluntary and community sectors, housing, education and local government to help residents overcome barriers to employment. Hybrid working arrangements are available, and the council emphasizes an inclusive, supportive environment.
The Gloucestershire Employment and Skills Hub is seeking two Partnership Advisers to join our Connect to Work team. Connect to Work is a supported employment programme helping people with disabilities, health conditions and other barriers to secure and sustain employment. As a Partnership Adviser, you will play a key role in developing the relationships and referral pathways that enable people to access this support. Working across Gloucestershire, you will build strong partnerships with a wide range of organisations including health services, voluntary and community sector organisations, local authorities, housing providers, education providers and community groups. You will promote the Connect to Work programme, identify opportunities for collaboration and help create a coordinated network of support for residents who need it most. The role is based on the CTW Partnership Adviser Job Profile (PA) and focuses on developing partner networks, supporting forums and strengthening referral pathways across the county.
Both roles will work closely together whilst contributing to a shared county-wide partnership strategy that improves access to employment opportunities for Gloucestershire residents.
You will be a highly effective relationship builder with experience of partnership development, stakeholder engagement, community outreach or service coordination. You may come from a background in health, community development, employability, local government, housing, education or the voluntary sector, but above all you will be passionate about helping people overcome barriers and achieve positive outcomes.
For the Community and Rural Inclusion focus, experience of community engagement, grassroots development or outreach work would be particularly valuable. For the Health Partnerships focus, experience of working with health, wellbeing or integrated support services would be advantageous.
This is an exciting opportunity to help shape a high-profile programme that will make a lasting difference to people across Gloucestershire.
The council is not currently able to offer sponsorship in this role. Candidates will need to have right to work that enables them to commit to at least 6 months' employment. Right to work is not transferable from a sponsored role held with another employer. We want to be an employer of choice, attracting and retaining excellent people to work for us, so that we can best serve all of Gloucestershire's diverse communities. Our promise to you is that we will provide an inclusive and supportive working environment that enables you to bring your whole self to work and realise your full potential. It is a legal requirement, under the Immigration Act 2016, that anyone appointed to a 'customer facing role' must be able to demonstrate an ability to fulfil all spoken aspects of the role with confidence in fluent English.
Hybrid working arrangements are available for the majority of our roles, giving teams the opportunity to work in a way that suits them, balancing service need and individual choice, with a mix of both remote and office working.
