Job Title: Partner Tax Compliance – Assistant Manager

Base Location: Watford plus network of 20 offices nationally

What will you be doing? :

  • Handling tax returns and ensuring partners’ tax compliance obligations are met for approximately 900 partners.
  • Collaborating with the Senior Manager on Partnership Tax aspects, alongside other Assistant Managers.
  • Preparing partner split of taxable profit calculations.
  • Managing all aspects of the self-assessment tax compliance process for partners, including increased compliance due to basis period reform.
  • Communicating with HMRC regarding partners’ tax affairs.
  • Considering UK partner compliance considerations arising from increased global mobility.
  • Supporting partners with their tax affairs throughout their partner lifecycle.
  • Providing ad hoc advice on partner-related issues.

What will you need to do it? :

  • ATT qualified with experience in private clients and a strong background in personal tax compliance.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills, with a sense of personal responsibility and accountability.
  • High resilience and credibility, with self-assured responses.
  • Sound judgment in challenging situations, seeking support when necessary.
  • Drive, enthusiasm, and a positive attitude, even under pressure.
